Andrew McDonald prepares to bowl for the first time in Australia's Test cricket team on the 4th of January 2009. This footage captures the crowd's response to his introduction into the attack. There could be no prouder moment than hearing your name announced to the applause of the Sydney faithful. Australia went on to defeat South Africa on Day 5 of the game with just 10 balls to spare. Andrew finished with figures of 1-41 in the first innings claiming the key wicket of Hashim Amla. In the second innings Andrew's figures were 2-32.
